Barrel roller bearings suit light and medium conveyor drive shafts, agricultural implement drives, simple gear drive shaft supports, woodworking and timber processing equipment, fan shaft support in fabricated frames, and general industrial drives where self-aligning capability and adaptor sleeve mounting simplicity provide practical advantages over precision-fitted alternatives. They are a practical, lower-cost alternative to spherical roller bearings in moderate-load applications.
